
(4000 €, 2500 €, and 1500 €) for the best interpretations of Stockhausen works will be awarded following the final concert. A prize may be divided.
In addition, the Hazel Clark Prize will be awarded for the best musicological essay or extended text on a Stockhausen work or works. The prize is 1000 €and will be presented during the awards ceremony following the final concert.
Submissions will be handled by the Stockhausen Foundation for Music, Kettenberg 15, D-51515 Kuerten, Germany. We encourage all writers, academics and musicologists to submit (deadline April 1st 2008).
A fee of 360 € ($532) covers admission to all events and includes lodging reservation. Travel, lodging and meals are not included.
Payment of the tuition fee is to be enclosed with the completed registration form. European cheques should be in €. Personal cheques from the USA in US dollars are acceptable. All cheques must be made out to the Stockhausen Stiftung für Musik (adding 15 /$22 for handling charges). Interpreters are requested to indicate the works prepared. The faculty is willing to assist participants in preparing themselves for course attendance ahead of time. Interpreters will receive the respective faculty address.
Anyone interested may participate in the courses, space permitting. The applications will be accepted and lodging assigned in the order in which the applications arrive.
