This year, as part of the Stockhausen Concerts and Courses Kürten, an international musicology workshop entitled The musical legacy of Karlheinz Stockhausen: Looking back and forward, will be held on August 10th and 11th 2011. The work shop will address questions in regard to Stockhausen’s life work as a completed oeuvre. In lectures and discussions, renowned Stockhausen experts will examine various perspectives of present and future confrontation with Stockhausen’s music.

All registered participants of the courses may attend the work shop and do not need to apply separately.
